Tyranika hails from the Kumara home world, along with the Super Space Dinos. But unlike them, he has perfected a synthetic robotic suit, in which he is able to store an untold amount of alien life forms, all of whom are kept under his control.

Originally a Kumaran scientist, Tyranika (or Ty-R as he was known) was ousted from his home world following experiments in Kumara fusion (the art of melding his fellow beings with each other rather than with organic hosts). Partly out of anger and partly due to his increasing lust for power, he made the council which banished him, the first captives inside his suit.

Having attempted (and failed) to capture the Shambhala 60 million years ago, Tyranika has spent the countless years searching for more Kamara to add to his power base. Knowing that many disks had been lost on Earth, he has torn the planet apart (using his corporation Tyran Corp) to find them and will not stop until all are his.
